This notice explains how Benton Whitt (the “Seller”, “we”, “us”), as the data controller, collects and uses personal data when you use RouteOps Pro.
1. Data we collect
Account data: names, email address, login credentials and company details you provide at sign-up.
Operations data you enter: driver, vehicle, route, attendance, safety, payroll, document and photo records for your delivery business.
Support data: messages you send us. Usage and technical data: device identifiers, IP address and telemetry about how the service is used.
2. How we use it
We use this data to create and manage your account, provide and improve the service, keep it secure and prevent fraud, and provide customer support. Where we send product updates or marketing, we do so on the basis of legitimate interest or your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where we ask for it.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers and subprocessors that host and operate the service (cloud hosting, analytics and support tooling).
Our Merchant of Record, Paddle, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
4. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as long afterwards as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
5. Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us through the support channel shown in the app and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and row-level isolation of each customer's data.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies (and similar storage) to keep you signed in and run the service. We do not use marketing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies will prevent sign-in.
